[edit] Merge suggestion

I don't think this topic warrants its own Wikipedia article, but it doesn't belong in the Heliostat article, either (that article has a strictly terrestrial context, nothing to do with space-based technology). A good merge would be with the Solar power satellite article. InNuce 00:55, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Solar Mirrors are not the same as Solar power Satellites

Solar Mirrors are not the same as Solar power Satellites. Please keep the pages separate. On the other hand the two pages should definitely be cross referenced and coordinated. I can see that there is some content on the Solar Mirror page which does not belong there and needs to be moved to the Solar Power Satellite page. I would be happy to assist with that task)Charles 15:30, 25 February 2007 (UTC) Charles 18:57, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Solar mirrors used on Earth

The scope of this article is not restricted to space applications, solar mirrors are already widely used on Earth, whereas they are not used in space at all right now. So rather than merging into a space solar power article, it would be more approriate to merge it into a more general solar power type article. I am surprised there is not more discussions about that. There is plenty of potential material for quite a large articleCharles 15:34, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
