Soltan Hajibeyov

Soltan Ismayil ogli Hajibeyov (1919-1974) was an Azerbaijani composer and People's Artist of the USSR.

Soltan Hajibeyov (1919-1974) was Uzeyir Hajibeyov's cousin. Soltan was a composer who contributed greatly to the formation of national symphonic music of Azerbaijan. Soltan was the director of Azerbaijan State Conservatory (now Baku Music Academy) from 1969 to 1974.
