Soleil (Miami)

Soleil is an approved skyscraper to be built in Miami, Florida. The building was approved in 2006 by the City of Miami and the Federal Aviation Administration, and construction is set to begin in the summer of 2007. Construction is expected to end in the fall of 2008. When completed, the tower will be 514 feet (157 meters) tall and contain 43 floors. It will have a 50 foot spire on top making its total height 564 feet (172 meters). The building will be the newest addition to the 3100 Biscayne Complex in Midtown Miami. The 10-story Executive Plaza Building makes up the existing part of the complex, and was completed in 1972. The site is located on Northeast 31st Street and Biscayne Boulevard.
