Solas An Chroí (2001) |
|
Solas An Chroí is an album of instrumental and largely Irish traditional music by the Belfast-based liturgical music group Solas. It was released in 2001 by Oregon Catholic Press.
Unlike Solas’s previous three collections, Solas An Chroí does not have an accompanying book of sheet music; rather than being a resource for church music groups, it was intended as a reflective album.
From the CD sleeve:
- Instrumental tracks from twelve Irish composers of religious music. We hope they lead you to the emotions, memories, hopes and dreams sacred to you, and to the light in your heart.
Its title is Irish for light of the heart.
