The Solar Happy demo tape is an early recording by the rock band Ash. It was recorded at Cosmic Ray's Studio in late June and early July of 1992. This was the first release of any Ash material, and it was their first demo tape. The only song on this tape that ever appeared again was "American Devil" on the Pipe Smokin' Brick Demo. It was also a regular song in Ash's early set lists.
