[edit] Plot
The film tells of Clara Goldstein (Norma Aleandro) a Jewish woman who places a personal ad in the local newspaper requesting the company of an older Jewish man.
Yet her best respondent Raul Ferraro (Federico Luppi) turns out to be a gentile.
Until she discovered Raul's religious affiliation, Clara was quite taken with Raul.
As such, Clara at first spurns him, but soon she realizes she needs him.
Her brother is about to visit her from Boston and she has been lying to him about being in a romantic relationship.
Fortunately, Raul goes along with the ruse. Not long after, they fall for each other.
