Sohebele

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sohebele is the name of a game viewing lodge in the Timbavati Game Reserve bordering the Kruger National Park. It was operated as a commercial safari lodge from the mid-1960's to at least the mid-1980's.

Its name was derived from the Sohebele River which ran (during the flood season) along the front of the lodge. Sohebele consisted of a main lodge with a pool and boma, and up to 30 bungalows.
