Sohan River

The Sohan is a river of the Punjab, northern Pakistan, forming the northern border of the Bannu District (at ca. 33.02° 71.73 E° ). It has been identified with the Sushoma (Sanskrit: सुसॊम) of the Rigveda.

The name "Sohan" derives from this river.

In sanskrit "Sohan" means Handsome.
