Softtek is a Mexican IT company, focusing on custom software development for large organisations. It has branches in Latin America, the United States and the European Union. Softtek was founded in 1984 by Gerardo Lopez Garcia, in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Lopez Garcia left Softtek in the year 2000, to be replaced by Blanca Treviño, the current presindet and CEO of the group. Employing some 3000 persons, Softtek is the biggest IT company in Latin America.
