  • This template creates a warning box that an account is suspected of being used as a sockpuppet.
  • It is to be invoked on the account's user page as:
              {{subst:socksuspect|1=PUPPETMASTER}}
    replacing the term PUPPETMASTER with the account name of the suspected sockpuppeteer (without the "User:" prefix), and the number of the case involving that user, if there's more than one -- for instance, puppetmastername (2nd).
  • A case must have been created to report the sockpuppeteer (puppetmaster), otherwise the evidence link in this warning box will be red, indicating that the page does not exist.
