[edit] Eh?

This

between Athens and its Second Athenian Alliance and between the allies of Chios, Rhodes, and Cos as well as the independent Byzantium

is incoherent. Perhaps the author meant someting such as

by Athens with its Second Athenian Alliance againts the allies of Chios, Rhodes, and Cos as well as the independent Byzantium

in any event, I cannot tell without researching the war.--Gamahucheur

  • Athens was still in charge of its league except for the revolting states. "Athenian Alliance" wasn't my edit, it's the Second Athenian Empire or League as it's called. I changed it.--Mole Man 01:11, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
