[edit] Origin

I've created this to serve as a target and focal point for a number of redlinks surrounding Frederic Passy. It's translated from the corresponding fr article, originally using Google's translator and then I cleaned it up a lot. Note that I don't speak French, so there may be translation errors; I'd appreciate corrections. (In particular, the translated names of the organizations do not take into account language-specific idioms; I suspect that the proper translations would be much simpler and clearer. For instance, in context I suspect that Société is more properly translated as Society than as Company.) Jordan Brown 03:16, February 10, 2007 (UTC)
