A term derived from the combination of social networking and marketplaces, such that a social marketplace acts like an online community harnessing the power of one's social networks for the introduction, buying and selling of products, services, and resources. A social marketplace can also be referred to as a structure that resembles a social network but has a focus on its individual members.[1] 'Social marketplace' use a collective target : people reputation.
