[edit] License tagging for Image:Viking-airport-miami.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Viking-airport-miami.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:07, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Carl G. Fisher

I am at a loss. When I type in Carl G. Fisher, it pops right up. When I click on the link on your user page in the photo caption, same thing. Have you tried clicking on a link rather than typing it in? Also, have you tried Carl Graham Fisher and see if the redirect will take you to the article. Somehow, the WP server seems to be misreading it when you type in Carl G. Fisher. I have seen a similar problem with characters such as periods, commas, etc on some word processors. Let me know if any of these workarounds work. If not, do you have access to a different computer just to experiment? I will take this upstairs if we cannot figure it out. • Glad you got access worked out. And, I appreciate your comments. I did the largest amount of the collaborative effort for this featured article, and had a lot of fun researching it and learning about this fascinating man. No relation, although we happen to have the same surnames. Mark Vaoverland 01:49, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
    • Wow! I wondered about Rosie the Elephant and even did a little web searching using just Rosie and Miami Beach if I recall correctly without any luck before my writing went elsewhere. Your article (along with the collaborative improvements of others) is very well-done, interesting, with sources, and graphics, a real pleasure and treat to read. This is good article quality material. Thanks for sharing it with me and contributing this level of quality to Wikipedia. Mark Vaoverland 03:02, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lost Indiana

You will want to be sure to read information on the Lost Indiana website , as well as the Caribbean Club article in WP if you haven't yet. Mark Vaoverland 14:00, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] a request from User: Vaoverland

Hi! I see small improvments still being made to the Fisher article. I have been working on Wikipedia: WikiProject Virginia and several other projects with User: No1lakersfan most of this past year. He is now a high school senior hopping to gain admittance to one of Virginia's public university for the Fall 2007 semester. Following advice, he has done maintenance and reference adding work, as well spending time on articles. He is a good collaborator and I believe he would enhance our efforts with WP as an administrator and use the additional tools and powers wisely. Since you know me from our past communications, I wanted to request that you consider entering a vote, hopefully in support, if you agree with my judgment and recommendation at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/No1lakersfan 2.

[edit] Ruby Carson book

On June 2006 you made a change to the Florida Land Boom of the 20's article where you quoted a book by Ruby Leach Carson entitled 40 Years of Miami Beach. I would surely like to see a copy of this book - because I don't think it exists. I am a newbie here - but you can see my info on my website: http://www.grovebook.com      GroveGuy 21:01, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Never mind. After relentless research I found out that this was an article in Tequesta. I will correct the citation.     GroveGuy 09:19, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
