How about a definition for a DNS SOA (Start of Authority) record? To start with:

- "Simple DNS Plus explains SOA-Records (Start of authority)":http://www.jhsoft.com/help/rec_SOA.htm

- "SOA records are defined in RFC 1035, Domain Names - Implementation and Specification":http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1035.txt

I agree with the above; sadly, I don't have the knowledge to write such an article. What I'm not so clear about, however is why "also: Service-orientierte Architektur" appears on the page? Isn't this just a translation which should be in the page itself?

Okay, I'm 99% sure this shouldn't be on that page, so I'm about to remove it. I've placed a note on the author's page explaining my concerns, so if he supplies an explanation, I'll undo this change. I'll delete these talk entries too in about two weeks.

Service-Oriented Architecture's tagline (expresses a perspective of software architecture that defines the use of services to support the requirements of software users.) sounds far too advertising-y to me, does anyone have a clearer wording? --FauxFaux 20:44, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
