[edit] Plot
The Bagges are visiting an art museum in France, as Muriel is convinced that she and the Mona Lisa are identical. The museum is closing, and the guard refuses to let them in until he hears that Muriel thinks that she and the Mona Lisa look exactly alike. He insists that she looks nothing like her and so lets her in for five minutes to find out for herself. The Bagges go in and take a very long time. Muriel is still convinced that she and the Mona Lisa are like sisters, and the guard thinks everyone has left and locks the museum up. The Bagges are trapped inside. Meanwhile, the planets above align and it has an odd affect on the museum. The paintings and statues start to come to life, most notably the Mona Lisa and the Thinker. The Thinker makes Eustace take his place and the Mona Lisa traps Muriel inside her painting. Courage is horrified, and he sees that the Mona Lisa is highly attracted to the Thinker and the two go on a date. Courage follows them through all sorts of paintings, and eventually the Thinker and the Mona Lisa end up in a cafe. Courage hears that the Mona Lisa wants a boyfriend who would be more romantic to her, and he gets a sudden inspiration. He sees a statue of a man and a woman kissing, and he steals Cupid's arrow from a painting in the wall. He uses the arrow to make the male kissing statue and the Mona Lisa to fall in love. The male statue dumps his girlfriend and he and the Mona Lisa get together and live with one another inside a painting. When the planets move out of line, the painting return to normal and Muriel is restored. She and Courage live in a home similar to the Bagge farmhouse inside a painting, and Muriel remains convinced that she and the Mona Lisa look exactly alike.
