So Much To Tell You is the first book by John Marsden, published in 1987. It has been translated into nine languages, as well as winning many highly acclaimed literacy awards such as Christopher Medal, Children's Book Council: Book of the Year, and the Victorian Premier's Award.

The story is about a young girl Marina, who had a terrible ordeal which would change her life forever. She keeps a diary of her troubled life. The book is partially based on a true story. The author, John Marsden, met two people who contributed to him making Marina's character. A young fourteen year old girl and a woman named Kay Nesbitt, whose face was damaged by a shotgun blast.
