SO10

SO10 was the Specialist Operations designation for the Metropolitan Police's Crime Operations Group.
In essence, SO10 was the Metropolitan Police's undercover unit, providing specially-trained officers and resources (such as fake identification documents for an undercover officer's "legend") for cases requiring covert policing and evidence gathering.
SO10 is still in existence under the Specialist Crime Directorate (SCD). The undercover unit is now known as SCD11(10) Covert Operations, but is still commonly referred to as SO10.
