[edit] Merging
The process of article merger is explained at Wikipedia:Merge. Any editor can do it. It doesn't involve an administrator deleting any pages, and so doesn't require any special privileges or the involvement of AFD in any way. Uncle G 16:41, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] A belated welcome
Hi, Snorgenhorpher, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes)
- Try the editing tutorial and image tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area
- Stay away from common mistakes and follow these simple rules
- It's a good idea to use Show preview button and Edit summary box
- If you need help, don't be afraid to post a question at the Help Desk or on my user talk page
- Explore, be bold, and, most importantly, have fun!
- Oh, and don't forget to tell something about yourself on your user page!
Good luck! Fang Aili 18:31, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I copied the welcome code from Renata. She's got her talk page linked in there, and I missed that change. How embarassing. Well, I'm sure Renata would be happy to help you too, should you have a question. And I think she's an admin (I'm not). Happy editing. --Fang Aili 18:54, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Possible deletion
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Take A Dump, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Take A Dump. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
