Snowbooks
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Snowbooks is an independent British publishing company. Founded in 2003, the company publishes 15-30 fiction and non-fiction titles a year and is notable for its eclectic roster and defiantly independent outlook. It was one of the first publishers to begin a company blog [1] and the first UK publisher to establish a bookstore in Second Life [2].
In 2005, Snowbooks obtained the rights to published a lost A. A. Milne collection, The Sunny Side (a collection of short stories for adults).[1] The following year, it was the joint-winner of the British Book Trade's Small Publisher of the Year award. In January 2007 it was shortlisted for the Trade Publisher of the Year at the inaugural Independent Publishing Awards.
