Snowbmx

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Snowbmx/Snowmoto is a recreational vehicle.

It has a BMX-like frame that weighs around 9 kg (20 lbs) and instead of wheels has a pair of small skis. Each ski is more or less one quarter of a snowboard in height and nearly half in length. Snowbmx can be riden on every kind of slope and off-piste.

The rider's feet simply lean on a platform (mounted around 10cm (4") above the rear ski), and are thus loose like on a surf. Normal shoes can be used but they must be water-proof. For safety reasons, a leash (an iron spring covered in rubber) tightens the frame to one of the rider's legs.
