Snow White is a 1987 film based on the classic fairytale and released as part of the "Cannon Movie Tales" series. Snow White is one of the most popular entries in that series.

Diana Rigg stars as the Wicked Queen.

The film was released straight to video and was popular in rental shops. It was recently released on Region 1 DVD by MGM.

Afer her jealous stepmother, the Queen, tries to have her killed, Snow White (Sarah Patterson) runs away into the forest, where she finds refuge with seven kindly dwarves. The years pass but when the Queen discovers Snow White is still alive, she attempts to destroy her rival with the help of clever disguises. The Queen uses a tight bodice, a poison comb, and finally a poison apple. Snow White lies in a state of sleep until she is awoken by her handsome Prince. Some time later, the Queen receives an invitation to the Prince's wedding. As the Queen arrives, she finds none other than Snow White walking down the aisle as the bride.
