Sno(w) Chao Cabal

The Sno(w) Chao Cabal (SCC) is a Discordian sect started sometime in the mid 1990s at Michigan Technological University. (There is some debate as to whether the official spelling is "Snow Chao Cabal" or "Sno Chao Cabal" Much of the early history has been lost due to the strong influence of Eris at that time, but some of it can be found in the holy .plan [1]

There are three rites one must participate in to become a full member of the Cabal:

  • Attend a Cabal Ball
  • Be quoted in the holy .plan
  • Bear witness to the SCC's leader, His High Holiness Sniffles, ArchHierophant Zerby in all his glory

There were originally to be five rites in keeping with the law of fives, but one (have sex with a member) was eliminated to increase membership and the other was forgotten.

The SCC has a news group, alt.discordia.scc, which is used primarily for spam filtering purposes.
