Snickers (workwear)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Snickers Workwear designs, manufactures and distribute workwear for professional tradesmen and service people. Snickers Workwear provides a flexible system of integrated workwear, designed to meet the specific needs of its users.

Snickers was started in the early 1970's by Matti Viio, a Swedish electrician who recognised the shortcomings of traditional workwear. Thirty years later, Snickers Workwear leads the European workwear market. The name Snickers comes from the Swedish word snickare which means carpenter in English.

Snickers has representation in 15 countries through approximately 5 000 dealers. Because of trademark issues in the United States, Snickers operates there under the brand, Skillers Workwear.
