Established in 1881, Sneads High School strives for excellence in education for all our students. Located in the rural countryside west of Tallahassee, in beautiful Jackson County, Sneads High School is just the right place for academic enrichment. Sneads offers state of the art classroom facilities, an experienced and dedicated faculty, and sophisticated learning tools to enhance the educational experience.
The neighboring communities of Sneads and Grand Ridge combined their high schools and middle schools beginning with the 2006-2007 school year. Grades 9-12 at Grand Ridge were added to the Sneads High School and the 6-8 grades at Sneads High will now be at Grand Ridge.
This will now make Grand Ridge a K-8 school and Sneads will be a High School only with grades 9-12.[[1]]
