Why did you put a POV notice on this page? Noone has raised any POV issues on the talk page. ---- Charles Stewart 07:37, 4 Feb 2005 (UTC)

- No problems: Wikipedia is plastic. Are you interested in putting some energy into editing that page? There's some issues with it, and I could post a summary of what I would like to do with it if I could find the time ---- Charles Stewart 12:58, 7 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Yes I am interested. Let me know what type of info you want. I don't know much but I can help where I can. --Smooth Henry 17:16, Feb 7, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Superman
Please don't post nonsense. -- 04:25, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Oh come on buddy, it's for real! --Smooth Henry 21:28, Feb 14, 2005 (UTC)

- If you write a good article on Superman (sex act), then you can probably get away with linking to it from the superman disambig page. But adding a questionable link to an article that doesn't even exist yet is borderline. Write the appropriate article first, in an encyclopedic manner, and then the link should be acceptable. [edit] category "abuse" would be too weak for Donkey punch
I don't think abuse captures the criminal aspect of such behavior, so I prefer the criminal, assault, rape categories. It does raise interesting issues, for instance, if a woman was engaging in consensual vaginal sex, she hasn't necessarily consented to anal sex, which is different enough in character and risk to be considered rape if it is forced upon her. However, this is not the type of think I heard of being prosecuted, presumably because the woman feels guilt for having consented to someone with so little regard for her.--Silverback 11:03, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Maybe a new subcategory is in order, "sexual crimes"? I believe there would be enough articles in wikipedia to warrant such a subcat, such as rape, statutory rape, various articles dealing with laws regarding such crimes, and prob. sexual harrassment. --Smooth Henry 11:06, Feb 27, 2005 (UTC)
- That sounds like a good idea. Although, there are some that argue that rape and such crimes are not really sexual.--Silverback 11:14, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- ...sure, but right now Wikipedia files Rape under category:Sexology. --Smooth Henry 23:05, Feb 27, 2005 (UTC)

Did you create Image:Bb7510.jpg yourself? If so, please replace the {{unverified}} tag with {{gfdl}}, or whatever tag you feel is appropriate. Thanks - LeonWhite.
- Yes I created. Followed your advice. thank you. --Smooth Henry 04:15, Mar 23, 2005 (UTC)

I'd prefer GNU FDL, but check with the person who took the original image too. Mr. Jones 20:34, 10 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] No source listed for Image:Asia-carrera.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Asia-carrera.jpg. I noticed that while it was tagged, it didn't have a source listed. As per the image description page guidelines, there needs to be a source listed, otherwise images without a source have to be deleted as its copyright status cannot be determined. (For instance, if the image came from the Internet, this can be in the form of a URL.) Should you not have a valid source, the image may be listed on images for deletion due to their undeterminable copyright status. If you have any more questions, add your reply below. I will get back to you ASAP on this matter. Thanks! -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 00:54, 11 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Chumbawamba80b.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Chumbawamba80b.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --OrphanBot 10:22, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:Hebrewblockandscript.png
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Hebrewblockandscript.png. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 02:58, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
