Smoky River No. 130, Alberta

The Municipal District of Smoky River No. 130 is a municipal district in north western Alberta, Canada.
It is located in Census Division 19. The municipal seat is set in Town of Falher. On Jan 01, 1952, the name was changed from Municipal District of Fillion No. 130 (incorporated since 1952) to the actual name, taken from Smoky River, a tributary of Peace River.

The municipal district has a population of 2,379 in 830 dwellings, a 4.5% decrease from 1996. On a surface of 2,842.52 km² it has a density of 0.8 inhabitants/km².
