[edit] Atmosphere

Smokey Bones creates a rustic mountain lodge setting by using lots of wood, including tall timbers and logs, stacked stone, fireplaces, and imagery of mountain settings. Multiple televisions are hung throughout the seating area, as well as at the bar. Both volume and channel choosing can be controlled via audio boxes located at each table and throughout the bar. This is a greater number of televisions than one would normally expect to find in a rustic mountain lodge.

[edit] Food

Smokey Bones has a wide variety on their menu. There is the "traditional" (usually slow-smoked) barbeque menu, including burgers, chicken and barbequed spare ribs, as well as a line of salads and other non-barbeque entrees. Two items available to customers are skillet cornbread, served with pecan butter, and a bag of cinnamon-sugar doughnuts, served with strawberry dipping sauce. Another favorite is an entree-sized Lodge Salad.

[edit] Ownership

Smokey Bones Barbeque and Grill is owned by Darden Restaurants, Inc.. Darden owns all Smokey Bones Barbeque and Grill restaurants; franchise opportunities are not available. Darden Restaurants, Inc. is a well known corporation that owns Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Bahama Breeze and Seasons 52.
