Smithville, New Jersey

Smithville is a unincorporated area located within Galloway Township, in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. Smithville is located 15 miles from Atlantic City. In the heart of Smithville is the Historic Smithville & Village Green, where over 80 shops and restaurants are located in restored post-revolutionary homes. However, the most famous of these restaurants, is the Smithville Inn, one of the few original buildings in the Historic Smithville.

The color of Smithville is Lime Green, and many of the locals sport this color daily to show their pride for their community.[citation needed]

Smithville is located in the New Jersey Pine Barrens.

Smithville is accessible via Exit 48 of the Garden State Parkway (southbound only) by way of U.S. Route 9 (New York Road) and via the Atlantic City Rest Stop off the Parkway (mile 41), by following Jimmie Leeds Road to Route 9 North.
