The Smena 8M is an entry level 35 mm film camera that was manufactured in the Soviet Union by the LOMO factory from 1970 to 1993. Made of lightweight plastic with aluminum lens and shutter assembly, it is fully manual operated, designed to be inexpensive and accessible to the public. It is now one of the models promoted by Austria company Lomographische AG along with the famous LOMO LC-A.
