Small Constitution of 1947

Small Constitution of 1947 (Polish: Mała Konstytucja z 1947) was a temporary constitution issued by the communist-dominated Sejm of 1947-1952 (Polish parliament). It confirmed the practice of separation of powers and strenghtened the Sejm. It was novelised in 1949, 1950 and 1951. It recognizing some articles of the previous March Constitution of Poland (1921) and PKWN Manifesto (1944) and was replaced in 1952 by the Constitution of the People's Republic of Poland.
