Sluk (Byron Spencer) is a fictional mutant character in the Marvel Comics Universe, a member of the second team of X-Force. The character called Sluk was created by Peter Milligan (writer) and Mike Allred (artist). He first appeared in X-Force vol. 1 #116.

[edit] Fictional character biography

Sluk was present in a mission with X-Force in North Africa, where he attempted to ambush a soldier with his "creepy face things". The soldier caught him off guard and swung his mine detector, hitting a flaming tank, causing it to explode, killing both the soldier and Sluk. Later, a statue of Sluk was seen in the X-Force building, and the remaining members seemed to agree that no one really liked him anyway.

Zeitgeist, in particular, did not care for his less than human looks.

[edit] Powers and abilities

Sluk has facial tentacles that can stretch and encase the faces of others, suffocating them or ripping at their flesh. He also possesses peak human strength.
