Waoooh what a diagram I feel l~ike adding to brilliant pictures ! But there is a little problem I think you will burn either the film or the retina with a lens that focuse like in you drawing ? Ericd 21:53 7 Jun 2003 (UTC)

If you point your camera directly at the sun and keep it there, you will burn your retina or your film (depending on the position of the mirror and shutter).

This picture was used in a UK magazine called "Computer Shopper" in a article about SLR cameras they had. It was in the December 2005 issue on page 32 if anyone is interested. Borb 22:22, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

On one hand, that's awesome. On the other, I hope they at least credited Wikipedia, and hopefully the contributor. GFDL doesn't mean "public domain". grendel|khan 06:47, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
They credited Wikipedia, but definitely did not comply to the GFDL. However, it is extremely hard for a magazine to comply to the GFDL (they'd have to dedicate a page to printing the entire license) which is a major reason for giving people the option to use Creative Commons with your image instead of GFDL. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 139.222.232.75 (talk) 23:17, 10 March 2007 (UTC).
