Slow Death Factory is a Danish death metal band that is about to release their first full length album. Slow death factory was formed in 2004 by former Illdisposed band member Morten Gilsted. A Three-track Promo CD was recorded and distributed for reviews in 2005 ([1][2][3][4][5][6]). Two additional former Illdisposed members, Rolf Hansen and Lass D.R. Bak joined the band in late 2005, and with the addition of vocalist Søren Kirkegaard in late 2006 Slow Death Factory recorded a 10-track album, which is to be released in 2007. The band was strengthened in early 2007 with the addition of bass player Rasmus Henriksen.
The name "Slow Death Factory" is the title of a song on the Illdisposed album "Submit" from 1995 [7]. The title (and song) was originally conceived by Morten Gilsted.
