Slovenian national ice hockey team

The Slovenian national men's ice hockey team is currently ranked 16th in the world by IIHF as of 2004. The team is controlled by the Ice Hockey Federation of Slovenia. Slovenia has only 980 players (0.05% of its population) but last year succeeded to stay in a group A among 16 best teams in the world. Their best ever record is 13th place. Their coach is Ted Sator.
