Sloan Valve Company

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sloan Valve Company was founded in 1906 with the introduction of the Royal Flushometer. The Flushometer is now a standard flushing technology in commercial and institutional facilities, including schools, office buildings, hotels and other public restrooms worldwide.

Manual Flushometers are now available in numerous types and styles, such as dual-flush models, which enable users to choose from a regular 1.6 gallon flush or a reduced flush for greater water savings, and various water-saver models for water closets and urinals.

In addition to manually operated Flushometers, Sloan also offers sensor-operated Flushometers and other plumbing fixtures, including low-flow manual and electronic faucets, solid-surface lavatory systems, scrub sinks and wash stations, bedpan washer Flushometers, Waterfree urinals, and a 1.0-gallon pressure-assist system for water closets. Other restroom fixtures include manual and sensor-operated hand dryers, low-flow showerheads, networked water-control systems, and electronic soap dispensers.[1]
