bowline links here as part of directions on how to tie it "lighting fast". Unfortunately, this redirects to knot, which doesn't seem to have directions on how to tie a slip knot. *sigh* --Johnleemk 10:34, 15 Apr 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Rolling hitch

The link to Rolling hitch as an example of a knot that slides along the middle of another rope is incorrect. Rolling hitches are tied specifically not to slide, but to grip. -BonsaiViking 22:46, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
