"Slipping Away" is the fourth UK single (sixth single worldwide) from the 2005 album Hotel by the American musician Moby. It was released on 23 January 2006.
Unlike the album mix, the single version features backing vocals from Alison Moyet.

The French edition of Go: The Very Best of Moby included "Slipping Away (Crier la vie)", a new version presented as a duet with French singer Mylène Farmer. Released as a single in France, it reached number one on the French singles charts and was Mylène's first number one single since 1995. The release of the album in some Spanish speaking counties, will also include a version called "Escapar (Slipping Away) with famous Spanish group Amaral.
