Slipmatt (b. Matt Nelson) is a famous happy hardcore producer and DJ based in London, England and was one half of rave act SL2 (along with John "Lime" Fernandez) who had a number two smash in the UK in 1992 with On A Ragga Tip. Slipmatt plays at most Fantazia, Raindance, Moondance & Slammin Vinyl raves. Mainly plays oldskool style rather than happy hardcore these days, but one of the most respected on the scene, also known as the "Godfather".

Other notable releases include Breaking Free/Hear Me on Awsome Records.
