Slipknot was due to come back from hiatus in 2007 and record an album and have it ready for release in 2008, but on January 9, 2007, Corey Taylor recently stated in an article that he decided with the success of Stone Sour, he will not bring back Slipknot until 2008. Slipknot will not put out a new album in 2007.
