Slingshot is a New Zealand owned telecommunications company. Founded in 2001[1], it is one of the major internet service providers in New Zealand. Slingshot is a subsidiary of CallPlus Services Ltd, which is jointly owned by Annette Presley and her husband Malcolm Dick, with CEO Martin Wylie holding a ten percent stake[1].
Along with other Internet service providers of New Zealand, Slingshot CEO Annette Presley has been one of the leading figures in criticising Telecom. Their services include 'Slingshot Tolls' which provides reduced toll rates, as well as dial up and ADSL internet access.
