Welcome to the user page of...me, Sleeper99999. So many nines, you're probably saying to yourself. I got tired of trying for Sleeper, Sleeper2, Sleeper7, Sleeper34...you get the picture. So, 99999. Easy to remember.

Anywho. I'm 31 years of age, from the rolling verdant plains of central New Jersey, US of A. I've been perusing Wikipedia for about a year now and decided all spur-o'-the-moment-like to join and try editing and maybe starting my own articles. I'm interested in all kinds of history, leaning towards American history (of all kinds, political, military, economic, etc.) owing to my being American and all. I'm also keenly interested in the present-day political climate of America, with a particular interest in left-leaning politicians of either the Democratic or Green Party; science fiction of all kinds, both in writing and in television and film; movies in general; and various and sundry pop cultural fads. Hopefully I'll find the energy to make this page more interesting at some point, so, check back, or don't. Whatever suits you.
Looking at the various Wikipedic philosophies, so far I think I'm closest to the eventualist mindset. As far as exo- versus metapedianism, I'm not sure. Improving articles or starting my own is what interests me most, but I can see the values of some discussions on talk pages. The danger is an entry's talk page swallowing up the page itself with constant bickering. The whole Wiki thing fascinates me so far, I guess because there seems to be so much yet to learn about it. I'm sure eventually I'll become jaded and sullen like the rest of you, fear not.
