[edit] Why I Rated The Article The Way I Did
Hi, I was the one who rated the Sleep Convention article a "B", with High Importance placed upon it. The reason I didn't give the article a higher grade is because two very important pieces of information are missing in the info box -- album length and who produced the album. The overall quality of the article is also hindered by its "stub" status. If someone were to expand the article, I think it could very easily be A-class material. I do thank whomever found the image of the album's cover and created the info box because it was a very nice touch for an album that is as obscure-ish as Sleep Convention and think that those items really ramped up the article's quality from being merely a stub to being something that is really not that bad. I just think it could stand to get better.
The article is of High Importance rather than Top-Class because I don't think the album article's information comprise the bulk of the information available for the musical artist Trees. There is a fair bit of info on the main Trees page. Yet, I don't want to downplay the album article's serious importance, especially in conjunction with the main article, and feel that this article is absolutely necessary. I feel that "High Importance" is the highest level of import this article can attain. Krushsister 02:03, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reassessed
Unfortunately, this article has had to drop to stub class as required by WP:ALBUM guidelines for the following reasons:
- There is not enough introductory text, and no other sections of prose.
- There is no section for album credits or personel.
- The article is not correctly categorized.
- The statement "This album is considered to be a lost gem and a fine representation of New Wave's finest." has no reference and therefore breaks WP:NPOV
- A lot more information is needed in the infobox, including some professional review.
Once all these have been taken care of, you may request a new review at WP:ALBUMA. Thanks Alex valavanis 10:37, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
