Sleman Regency

Sleman is a regency or Kabupaten (Indonesian) on between Yogyakarta and Magelang. Its capital is the town of Sleman.
Area is 574.82 km².
It is located on the north west border of Yogyakarta Special Region. Mount Merapi is located on the north eastern border of the regeny.
The area is known for its production of Snakefruit (Indonesian: salak).
