Sleeuwijk ( 51°49′N, 4°57′E) is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is a part of the municipality of Werkendam, and lies about 3 km southwest of Gorinchem.

In 2001, the town of Sleeuwijk had 4649 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 1.2 km², and contained 1647 residences.[1] The statistical area "Sleeuwijk", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 5160.[2]
