[edit] License tagging for Image:Ghats.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Ghats.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:09, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Congrats etc.
Thanks for the offer, I'm sure we can improve the overall quality of the articles. My immediate concern is the Technology of the GDI page. Mikael GRizzly 21:53, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

- That thing does look bad. I'll work on it when I get the chance. By the way, I added a cyborg photo to the Nod Tech page. Slavik262 22:00, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- Good, well thought out addition. It really adds much to the article. Have you tagged the image as a "Computer or videogame screenshot"? If yes, then good :) Mikael GRizzly 22:34, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject on C&C?
Since we have a delete-happy admin on our Mammoth Tank article, may I suggest founding a C&C WikiProject? We need more people, true, but it'd help us get organized, upgrade articles and help get the C&C articles in line. Plus, it would save the Mammoth Tank from deletion. [edit] Save the Mammoth Tank!
Comment on the AfD for the page and help save the iconic GDI superweapon! Mikael GRizzly 22:39, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mass Deletion
What is going on? Cnc articles are being killed left and right! The A path beyond article is dead and volkov is subject to deletion? ??? Slavik262 16:44, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Guess tha AfD division is moving in for the kill. Mikael GRizzly 16:47, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- What did we ever do to them? Slavik262 17:01, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- Nothing. Apparently they're people with no life for whom Wikipedia is the only substitute for social life and an imitation of great power they're unable to wield in real life. Mikael GRizzly 17:04, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:GDI Assault.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:GDI Assault.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
