Slava Pestov

Slava Pestov (b. 1984) is the creator of the Factor programming language and jEdit, a popular text editor. Pestov was born in Tomsk, now in Russia. He lived for 10 years in New Zealand before moving to Canberra, Australia, and from there to Ottawa, Ontario for college.

Pestov holds a BA degree in mathematics from the University of Ottawa.
