[edit] Plot
An egotistical film student breaks into the long-abandoned Slaughter Studios to shoot an entire film in one night before the studio is torn down the next day. Unfortunately for the director and his actors, a deranged killer is hiding in the darkened hallways with them and begins to trim the cast list.
[edit] Trivia
- This was the last film to be shot at Roger Corman's studios in Venice Beach, California.
- The film only had a 10-day shooting schedule.
- This project actually began life as a remake of Slumber Party Massacre, but producer Akhavi suggested this idea instead.
- On the DVD commentary track director Katkin stated that up to 85% of the dialogue was improvised on the set. He further went on to claim that he wanted a script rewrite before the film went before the cameras, but due to the extremely short shooting schedule there wasn't enough time.
