Slanoll
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Slanoll, son of Ollamh Fodhla, was a legendary High King of Ireland. His name is explained by Seathrún Céitinn as "great health", and he says that during his reign there was no disease. After ruling for fifteen or seventeen years (depending on the source consulted) he was found dead from no apparent cause. He was buried, and according to the Annals of the Four Masters, when his body was dug up forty years later, it showed no sign of decomposition.
