[edit] Howdy!
I'm a Mechanical Engineering major at Texas A&M University, and a big fan of the golden age of Science Fiction (or SF, but never Sci-Fi)

[edit] Wiki Anecdotes
I happen to use a Dvorak keyboard layout. But as I am too cheap to actually buy a Dvorak keyboard, I merely remapped the keys on my old Qwerty keyboard. As you can imagine, this makes it difficult for other people to use my computer.
So, one of my friends decided to show me a page that he had created on Wikipedia. This page is The Lais of Marie de France. My browser was already open to the Wikipedia article on Robert A. Heinlein. Because he couldn’t use the keyboard, he stubbornly navigated from Heinlein to the Lais of Marie de France in 6 mouse clicks, without using the menu links. I don’t know if I am more impressed at his feat of skill, or at Wikipedia’s interconnectedness.
For those that are interested, the exact path he took was:
- Robert A. Heinlein
- United States Naval Academy
- Doctor of Philosophy
- Humanities
- Literature
- Medieval literature
- The Lais of Marie de France
